Deciding to Start my Own Home-Based Business

After going through a layoff or two. I decided i wanted to start my own home-based business. I had no idea what i wanted to do. did i want to try my hand at a franchise, or did i want to develop my own home based business from the ground up. I always heard that the only way to truly achieve financial independence is to work for myself. I did research on and offline on what would be the best business to suit my experience and interest. It was and still is a hard decision. All i did know is i wanted to work from home or atleast work for myself be it at home or a brick and martar business. I realized how hard it is when your used to receiving a paycheck every month. I know i had to step out on faith or i'd never live my dream of starting my own business. i was tired of working for someone else. I had no business ideas or wondered financially was i able to start my own business. I'm know on this journey to find financial independence and stability based on my decision not have my livelihood sit in the hands of someone else. the Journey begins. I will document here my experiences. The pitfalls and obstacles of starting my own business. I'm afraid but, i have some ideas on how i should proceed now.
